With a Medicare Supplement insurance plan from Louisiana Blue, you get coverage for many of the expenses Original Medicare doesn’t pay. You also get the freedom to choose almost any doctor who accepts Medicare. A Medicare Supplement insurance plan doesn’t include prescription drug coverage, so you would need to purchase a standalone Part D plan if you want that coverage.
You cannot be enrolled in both Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement insurance at the same time.
